Nomination Form

Over the years, the Friends of Section III Wrestling has developed a database of potential candidates for induction into the Hall of Fame. We encourage people to use this form to nominate candidates to be added to our database. We don't mind having names submitted more than once so people should nominate worthy candidates even if they think the name is already included in our database. Please be as complete as possible.

 

NOMINATIONS FOR THE CLASS OF 2013 MUST BE RECEIVED BY SUNDAY, DECEMBER 9, 2012

 

Nominees must meet the minimum qualifcations in one of three categories:

 

WRESTLER
COACH
CONTRIBUTOR

• Minimum Section III Champion or

• Has a distinguished collegiate career or

• Makes the sport proud (becomes a political or community leader)

• Minimum of 10 years of coaching at any level of competition

• Has an impact on the sport (did he help the sport grow in his area?)

• Not just about wins and losses

• Does not have to be retired

• Could be a referee, administrator, writer, coordinator, coach

• Positive impact on the sport

• Lifetime of involvement

 

You may nominate someone in one of four ways:

 

• Fill out the online nomination for AND submit all supporting documents to john@cnywrestling.com, if applicable
