Fowler Falcons, Mohawk Valley Wrestling Club


Following the path of his brothers and inspired by Hall of Fame coaches Bobby Ridall and Ron Roch, Bob Roses love for wrestling was cultivated at Watertown High School.

In 1967, after returning from his duties with the United States Army, Bob became a wrestling referee in the Frontier League.

After moving his family to Syracuse, Bob got involved with the North Area Wrestling Club, serving as its president for over six years. He has served as Vice-President of the Mohawk Valley Wrestling Club for the past 22 years.

Since 1987, Bob has officiated and coached in the Empire State Games as a Central Region representative. He was named a Field of Play manager at two World Championships and the 1996 Olympics.

Bob has served as a USA wrestling official, junior national team coach and board member for New York State wrestling.

Bob has coached in fifteen international wrestling tournaments, traveling around the world, including trips to China, Turkey, Germanyand Holland.

For over thirty-five years, Bob has been a true ambassador for the sport of wrestling at the sectional, state and national levels.
