Jack Williams

Class of 2010
Liverpool Warriors
A 1967 graduate of Liverpool High School, Jack Williams returned to his alma mater in 1976, and remained a fixture in the Warrior wrestling program for the next 32 years.

He was a three-sport varsity athlete; competing in wrestling, soccer and baseball. He continued his wrestling career at the U.S. Naval Academy.

Jack coached at the modified and junior varsity levels, before taking the reigns of the varsity program in 1982.

He compiled an impressive 256 dual meet wins, along with numerous other tournament wins at Liverpool. His Warrior teams won seven league championships. He is a seven-time OHSL Coach of the Year recipient.

In 1991, Jack became first recipient of the National Football Leagues Teacher of the Year Award. Other awards and honors include:

-2009 National Wrestling Hall of Fame Inductee (Service)

Jack is a 1971 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and received his Masters in Science Education from Syracuse University in 1977.

He resides in Liverpool with his wife Ana. They have two children; Timothy and Katherine.
