Syracuse Post-Standard
Neil Kerr began working for The Post-Standard in 1966 and has been writing scholastic sports including wrestling ever since.
Graduated from Syracuse University in 1966 where he rote up Syracuse University wrestling for the campus newspaper (Daily Orange) while at SU (before SU dropped the sport). Neil asserts the best he saw at SU were Jim Nance and Gene Mills.
Wrote stories for the State Wrestling Meet program (helping Reed Hawke) for 30 years until the tourney left town.
Elected to State wrestling Hall of Fame in 2004. Also elected to the state and sectional basketball Halls of Fame.
