Matt Herrington

Matt Herrington put together a stellar high school career. Wrestling for LaSalle Institute and Cambridge High School, Herrington amassed a 243-7 career record on his way to capturing two New York State Championships. His 243 wins set a new high school record for wins in a career. His accomplishments named him to Wrestling USA's Magazine's Dream Team, which honors the top wrestler in the nation at each respective weight. He was also member of the United States Dream Teams that competed against Wisconsin and Pennsylvania where he was victorious in both matches.

Herrington also had a strong international background, winning the 2001 Junior National Greco-Roman Championships and finishing second in Freestyle.

As a University of Pennsylvania wrestling recruit Matt Herrington was named National Wrestling Coaches Association High School Wrestler of the Year.

Herrington headlined a strong Penn recruiting class that was ranked first in the nation by Win Magazine. Herrington continued on and became a Division 1 All-American wrestler for Penn.

He resides in Easton, NY with his wife Allyson and two boys, Micah and Nathan. He works as a Financial Advisor and is an avid outdoorsman.
