xx FREE USMC Leadership Academy
July 25, 2019, 02:05:48 PM by webmstr
FREE CLINIC AUGUST 10TH
Wrestling is a simple sport. When you step onto the mat, it's you versus someone else. There's not much fancy equipment or anything else. It's not about anything, other than strength and skill and heart. It's about being Built to Lead.

Built to Lead Wrestling presented by the USMC Sports Leadership Academy provides you with first-class instruction from elite coaches. But, more than that, it provides you with intangible skills that make you Built to Lead.

Through a partnership with the U.S. Marine Corps, you will learn what it takes to be the best, to be the first in the gym and the last to leave it.

At the event, participants will participate in skill sessions, as well as receive a Built to Lead Evaluation at the end of the day. Between skill sessions and evaluation, participants will have the opportunity to be challenged, motivated, and to interact with members of the U.S. Marine Corps and learn key skills from the men and women who best exemplify what it means to lead. What it means to have enthusiasm and integrity, courage and loyalty, initiative and endurance.

Every player needs these skills. Every coach wants these players.

Do you have what it takes?  Are you Built to Lead?

xx Tim Green battling ALS
November 21, 2018, 07:24:03 AM by webmstr

As you probably know, Tim Green, who was a 2x Section3 Champion, 4th. and 1st. representing Section 3 in the NY State meet, has ALS.

Indicative of his fighting spirit, he has launched a campaign to generate money to fund ALS research.  He is fully aware that he will not be around to benefit from any advances these donations may produce.

The ALS donation website is:  www.TACLKEALS.com. I have started a "Team" to accept donations for any interested Liverpool High School graduates and members of our Section 3 Wrestling family.  The Team name is:  LHS WRESTLING.

All donations go 100% to Mass General Hospital which is leading the way in ALS research and treatment.

Regards.

Jack Williams
Retired Liverpool Wrestling Coach
Section III Wrestling Hall of Fame member
