Class of 2019

Derek started wrestling at age 10 in 5th grade. He participated in two years of pee wee wrestling before being brought up to varsity in 7th grade. Derek was the first 7th grader to ever be brought up and indeed proved he was ready going 34-4 his first year. Derek's career record was 265-13 setting the Sandy Creek record for wins and still holds that record to this day. Derek was a New York State Champion his sophomore year going undefeated with a 44-0 record on the year. Derek's junior and senior year he placed second in the state tournament going 44-1 his junior year and 44-1 his senior year.

Unfortunately Derek's wrestling career ended the last match of his senior year but now he pursues his duties of being a father to two beautiful children Gracie, age 5 and Noah, age 1 and is engaged to his beautiful fiance Alexis, age 25
