Greg Stevens attended G. Ray Bodley High School in Fulton, NY, where he excelled in football, track, and wrestling.

His high school wrestling achievements include three conference championships, two Section III titles, and a New York State Championship in his senior year.

As a junior, Greg won a Section III title and placed second at the state meet. In 1973, Greg capped off an outstanding high school career with another Section III Championship and a New York State title at 177 pounds. He was named a first team High School All-American, and placed second in both the Freestyl and Greco-Roman Wrestling Junior Nationals.

Greg continued his wrestling career at the University of Iowa. He was a member of four Big Ten Championship teamsand three National Championship teams. He was a Big Ten Champion, and National Finalist, and an All-American.

While at Iowa, Greg was a two-time Greco-Roman National Champion and a Freestyle National Champion.

Greg lives in West Branch, Iowa, with his wife Wendy. They have two grown daughters - Megan and Jillian.
